3.81.1. Usage

memcmp [-bwlsd] ADDR1 ADDR2 COUNT

3.81.2. Synopsis

Compare memory regions specified with ADDR and ADDR2 of size COUNT bytes. If source is a file COUNT can be left unspecified, in which case the whole file is compared.

3.81.3. Options

-b byte access
-w word access (16 bit)
-l long access (32 bit)
-s FILE source file (default /dev/mem)
-d FILE destination file (default /dev/mem)
